Expand your child's understanding of the true North Americans by studying Native Peoples through this beautifully curated four-week study! Layout is detailed, yet easy to follow with little to no preparation involved.

This secular, literature-based study includes weekly traditional prayers with provided copywork in both manuscript and cursive. Narration prompts, fun activities, recipes, and educational video links will enrich your children's learning experience.


Images of example notebooking pages from various grades are included throughout. All books, resources, videos and weekly syllabuses are hyperlinked for ease of use.

The required literature list is carefully selected to be a timeless addition to your home library. An optional literature and resource list for further learning is also provided.

Best suited for grades K-8. The study was written to have a four week lead-up to American Thanksgiving. However, it can be used throughout the year as most of the emphasis is on Native Peoples’ history and culture.

While there are 573 recognized Native Nations, this study only covers a small portion. The intent of the study is develop awareness and appreciation of the diverse native cultures, expose stereotypes, learn about reservations, and understand the truth behind the holiday we call Thanksgiving. Mostly, this study is a celebration of the beauty of Native Peoples as well as an introduction to colonization and globalization.

You and your children will finish this study with a newfound compassion for Native Peoples as well an expanded and balanced view on North American history.
