This literature-based study includes weekly applicable Bible verses and secular-friendly poems or proverbs with provided copywork in both manuscript and cursive. Narration prompts, fun activities, experiments, and educational video links will enrich your children's learning experience.

The required literature list is carefully selected to be a timeless addition to your home library. An optional literature and resource list for further learning is also provided. 

Notebooking is a key element in the study--if you don't have a good understanding of the art of notebooking, this study can be purchased with the Notebooking Manual as a bundle. 

Best suited for grades K-6.  The content in this study is more on the mature side, discussing economics, government, poverty, development, and war. However, there is enough fun and relatable cultural and geographical information to keep younger children interested.

This study moves quickly through 27 countries, sometimes studying two countries per day. There is no way that a country can be fully represented--capturing its history, geography, and culture in one day, so please keep in mind some countries will have a focus solely on history or geography, others on culture, a few on poverty or war, and the remaining on economics.

The intent is simply to develop awareness of a beautifully diverse continent while also creating empathy and understanding for some economic struggles that face parts of most African countries.
